BIO
Attorney Roberts was born in San-Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago. She immigrated to the United States in 1999 with her parents and siblings. She speaks both English and Spanish.
In 2009, Attorney Roberts graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Religious Studies. Attorney Roberts' passion to help the immigrant community became a reality when she graduated from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. While attending law school, Attorney Roberts served as the President of Immigration Law Society where she was a significant part of organizing events in which immigration law was discussed. Also, while attending law school, Attorney Roberts interned with Solano Law Firm, Catholic Charities of Atlanta, Barrios & Virguez LLC, and the City of Atlanta's Public Defender's Office where she gained experience in several areas of law including immigration law and criminal law. After law school, Attorney Roberts focused solely on practicing immigration law.
Attorney Roberts also served as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Arizona. In her role, she presided over cases appealed due to denials of unemployment compensation.
In her spare time, Attorney Roberts enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys research, nature, and going to the beach.
